Zojoji’s Daimon Gate
As you head to Zojoji Temple at Minato area, Tokyo, you will pass from the Daimon (大門 “Great Gate”) which was the original main gate of the temple. The Gate which is located about 200 metres from Zojoji, was originally made out of wood, but burnt down during the Second World War. The present gate is a concrete reconstruction.
